A pre-seed NYC based real estate startup launching next month is looking for a CTO/Director of IT to join their team. They are small but growing, with plans to expand from 2 to 40 people by next year.
This role would be hybrid with 4 days/week onsite.
Compensation: $140-150k base + cash bonus + bonus based on company performance
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a CTO or Director of IT.
- Strong background implementing and managing property management software (e.g., Appfolio).
- Experience in financial technology processes and collaboration with finance teams.
- Demonstrated success in process development and system automation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of payment processing systems and integrations preferred.
- Familiarity with best practices in IT governance and project management preferred.
- Must have early start-up experience
